Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Redefine (“Redefine,” “RDEFI,” “we,” “our,” “us”) operates a decentralised infrastructure protocol designed to connect investors, DeFi experts, and Asset Managers.

Redefine is not a bank, broker, or custodian. It is a non-custodial infrastructure provider that deploys smart contracts and facilitates access to strategies and vaults created by third parties.

2. Services

The Platform enables:

  • Investors/Savers: to deposit digital assets into smart contracts that participate in yield-generating DeFi opportunities.

  • Strategy Creators: to design and share automated yield strategies.

  • Asset Managers: to operate vaults with delegated funds for capital reallocation.

In most cases, funds are held entirely by smart contracts; in some cases, Redefine may act as an intermediary to route deposits into vaults or strategies, and Asset Managers may be given direct operational access (within the logic of those contracts).

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or age of majority in your jurisdiction).

  • You must not be a resident of a prohibited or sanctioned jurisdiction.

  • You are responsible for ensuring compliance with your local laws.

4. Fees

  • Redefine charges performance-based service fees ranging from 0.5% to 10%, depending on vault or strategy type.

  • Strategy Creators and Asset Managers may apply their own fees.

  • Fees are deducted automatically from profits — if there are no profits, no fees are charged.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Maintain sole control of your private keys, wallets, and accounts.

  • Conduct independent research before allocating funds.

  • Assume all risks associated with DeFi, including contract vulnerabilities, third-party integrations, and market volatility.

  • Pay any taxes or legal obligations that arise from your use of Redefine.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Platform for:

  • Money laundering, terrorism financing, or other unlawful activities.

  • Exploiting vulnerabilities in Redefine contracts.

  • Introducing malware, spam, or malicious code.

  • Disrupting or impairing Platform operations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”

  • Redefine makes no warranties of profitability, uptime, or error-free operation.

  • Redefine is not responsible for lost profits, lost capital, market losses, or damages caused by Asset Managers or third-party protocols.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Redefine, its developers, affiliates, and partners from any claims or damages arising from your use of the Platform.

9. Termination

We may suspend or restrict access if you violate these Terms or as required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cayman Islands.
